Julian Daniels joined KraneShares in August 2018 as a Managing Director to head the firm’s institutional efforts.

Prior to KraneShares, Julian was a senior member of the VanEck institutional business development team, where he was responsible for business development and client services across a suite of ETFs, mutual funds, and hedge funds. During his tenure, the firm grew from approximately $5b to $48b. Prior to VanEck, he was an Associate at Select Access Management, a global, multi-strategy fund of hedge funds, where he was responsible for marketing, investor relations, and business development initiatives.

Julian graduated from Northeastern University with a Bachelors of Arts in History and Political Science, where he was a member of the Men’s Varsity Soccer team. He is on the board of America Scores New York and is a member of the Alumni Council at Portledge School.
