Odette Gafner is Head of Compliance at KFA and joined the firm March in 2019 to oversee the compliance program for the Funds and to serve as the Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) to Krane Fund Advisors. Odette has over 12 years of experience implementing policies and establishing best practice across the asset management industry.

Prior to joining the KraneShares team, Odette worked at BlackRock for 12 years where she held various compliance roles ranging from the coding of investment guidelines and monitoring of trading activity to overseeing operational compliance for over 600 40-Act Funds with over $1T of assets under management (including ETF, closed-end, money market and traditional open-end products). She also spent two years in London helping facilitate various structural and strategic change initiatives.

Odette received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Psychology from Columbia University and in Bible Studies from the Jewish Theological Seminary. She also has a Masters in Business Administration from the Zicklin School of Business (Baruch College).
