The Fund invests at least 80% of its net assets (plus borrowings for investment purposes) in publicly-traded equity securities of “China AI and Technology Companies,” which the Fund defines as companies that are incorporated in or headquartered in or derive 50% or more of their revenues from mainland China, Hong Kong, or Macau. They must have sufficient exposure to the artificial intelligence (“AI”) value chain to have an “AI Exposure Score” of between 1 and 5, in the sectors of artificial intelligence (“AI”) foundation and large language models, cloud computing and infrastructure, semiconductors and chips, data services and enterprise software, and application companies.
